Parks, Streets & Public Buildings

Parks
One of the most enjoyed features of the Town is its parks. The parks are the result of Youngtown’s priority rating for open space from the time of its inception. Although a tiny municipality of two square miles, Youngtown offers seven parks plus lovely Maricopa Lake for recreation, relaxation and camaraderie. Family and group outings may be scheduled in various park ramadas, football and soccer fields, and volleyball courts - all of which are available for a nominal rental fee.

Streets
From their planning and development through to the filling of potholes, Public Works rules the roads! Youngtown’s streets are kept in excellent repair by diligent attention to detail. Reporting a pothole is guaranteed swift action by the Public Works Department.

Public Buildings
Have you visited Clubhouse Square? Here you will find the majority of Youngtown’s public buildings, including Town Hall, Town Clubhouse, Code Enforcement, Youngtown Library, Community Development, and Court Administration. This unique Town Square was once a working ranch, so it is composed of former houses and service facilities arranged around open spaces that have become an intimate park setting.

We invite you to inquire about our fees, and schedule one of our park facilities for a recreational activity by contacting Town Hall at 623-933-8286.
