Community Development
Community Development performs a backstage and critical role in the safety of residents, businesses and visitors in Youngtown from the original Residential Building Permit, Seasonal Swimming Pool Permit or  Commercial Building Permit and Plan Review through to the final Certificate of Occupancy.

GPLET Active Leases
The following information is provided to meet reporting requirements as determined by Arizona State Statute HB2213 effect August 9, 2017.

Active Government Property Lease Excise Tax (GPLET) Leases
The Town of Youngtown has no active GPLET leases.

The Town's Community Development Coordinator ensures that Youngtown’s private and public buildings are safe and comfortable. He personally handles all phases of construction in Youngtown. The many facets of construction are seldom handled in this way; most municipalities break down development and construction stages into several offices, rendering the process both tedious and time-consuming.  Fire inspections for the Town are performed by the Sun City Fire District.

To contact the Flood Control District of Maricopa County regarding any development questions within the Agua Fria River Floodplain call 602-506-1501 or fax at 602-506-4601.
