Town Clerk's Office

Mission Statement:

"The Mission of the Town of Youngtown Clerk's Office is to record, maintain and preserve records of all Town business; to provide accurate information in a timely manner to both staff and to the public; to provide for the fair issuance and enforcement of business licensing; and to conduct impartial Town elections."

Responsibilities

The Town Clerk's Office provides a variety of information, services and support to Town staff, elected officials and the public at large.  In addition to keeping records for the Town, the Clerk's Office also is responsible for:

Agendas and Minutes
Business Licensing
Codification of Town Codes Updates
Elections
Support to the Town Manager
Legal Ad Postings
Notary Services
Records Management
Public Records Requests
Support to the Mayor and Council
